The TCG Managing Director role is an independent and highly lucrative residual and bonus-based position that will allow you to use your knowledge of technology to build your own business. Using your skills and relationships, the right candidate can earn residual commissions in perpetuity. As an independent consultant you will assist your customers in finding, purchasing and managing their technology solutions with unlimited earning potential! Get your share of the estimated $4 trillion technology spend in 2022.

TCG offers our Managing Directors the ability to grow their business by providing access to TCG's complete portfolio of over 250 suppliers. TCG is a recognized name in the Technology Solutions Brokerage business for over 30 years. We will provide the tools and resources to guide your success including technology, back-office support and marketing resources.

Instead of working to monthly quota and starting over again with nothing to show for it aside from a one-time payment, the time is now to start your own long term and residual based business.

What you need to succeed:

  • Excellent phone-based networking skills
  • Strong account management and nurturing mindset
  • Ability to develop a strong relationship over the phone
  • High productivity ethic and goal orientation
  • Solution oriented approach to selling and excellent listening skills
  • Excellent relationship management skills; cultivate and coordinate sales opportunities across a large and varied Channel Partner Ecosystem
  • Proven excellent communication skills including the ability to ask direct questions
  • Good business acumen across various industries
  • Eager to learn and continue learning
  • Ability to share best practices
  • Excellent personal organizational skills and time management
  • Self-driven


  • Degree level education is preferable but not mandatory
  • Prior technology experience is required

Position Details:

  • Independent contractor
  • Focused on certain territory but can sign partners throughout the US
  • Initially at 85% passthrough, once achieve $250K will provide for 90% pass through
  • Progress expected after 1 year to $80K
  • Supplier incentive based on selling certain suppliers
  • Access to TCG's 240+ Suppliers
  • @ $500K in MRR gain access to $30K to hire own SALES personnel must sell $100K Net New MRR per year to maintain this position. Based on calendar year
  • Right of refusal non-Compete with recruited partner base and customers
  • $500K required to maintain residual in perpetuity can be passed down to family If terminated or resign from program or inactive for 6 months - supplier bonuses cease once terminated or leave program
  • Partners under Managing Director can be moved if no sold MRR after a year
  • Access to partner portal *under development*
  • Access to RPM commission and sales tools
  • Circle of Excellence Benefits based on production

  • Reporting directly to COO
  • Access to new partner onboarding
  • TCG Marketing Resource
  • TCG Event Assistance work with suppliers and assist in creation and recruitment of potential partners
  • @ $250K MRR shared personal assistant must maintain $100K annual MRR min based on CY
  • @ $250K MRR achievement $500 monthly travel assistance must maintain $100K annual MRR min based on CY
  • Business cards included
  • Office phone with mobile app included
  • Office 365 with Teams
  • Once achieve $10K in MRR receive laptop (TCG's property)
