In early 2019, we predicted that 2020 would be the Year of Microsoft Teams. Fast forward 18 months and it's safe to say that our prediction was correct, but what we didn't anticipate was that there would be a global pandemic that would accelerate the adoption of Teams. For all of us, the pandemic has had a deep impact on our businesses - in 2021, we'll feel that impact in our customer bases, and we'll experience that in the products we sell to remain relevant to our clients. With all that said, there is a "silver lining": 1) If you focus on Teams, you'll invariably go upmarket and at the same time, selling Teams Voice drives additional high-margin services like Contact Center, DaaS, and Access Management. 2) Digital Workspaces is expected to quadruple by 2022 and still averages between $60-$100 per user per month. This highly lucrative market segment is going to explode in 2021 as nearly 1/2 of the domestic workforce will choose to NEVER come back to the office.
